Every shop has a way of deciding what it sells. Ours is five questions, and a drink has to get past all of them. Most ideas do not, and that is the point of asking.
Does it taste great? This one comes first on purpose. Something can be full of good things and still be a drink nobody finishes, and a drink nobody finishes is not healthy, it is waste.
Does it make the healthy choice the easy one? We are not interested in the version of healthy that takes effort every single day. If it is a chore, it will not last past a fortnight.
Would we proudly serve it to our own family? This is the honest one. It is easy to sell something you would not drink yourself, and it is very hard to keep doing it.
Does it feel like Juicy? Bright, simple, generous. Not clinical, not a lecture.
Would we be happy if this became someone's everyday? Anything on the board might become part of somebody's morning for a year. That is a bigger responsibility than one sale.
None of this is complicated. It just has to be asked out loud, every time, before something goes up.
